The PLC ID is an innovative add-on module to the Tracking World Locator Series, a feature-rich GPS device that provides real-time vehicle location and Telematic information. The PLC ID is comprised of two devices, the PLC ID Reader installed with the Tracking World Locator Series, and the PLC ID Tag installed on the asset of interest.

By using the Power Line Carrier to communicate a unique ID between a tractor and trailer via the power line tether, fleet managers know when and where tractors and trailers are connected, and how they are being used.
